This website is operated by Just Lets Bristol, a lettings agency based at Unit 5 Victoria Grove, Bristol BS3 4AN. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” mean Just Lets Bristol. We are the data controller for the personal information handled through this site.

What information we collect
When you enquire about a property, ask us to let or manage your property, or otherwise get in touch through the enquiry form, by email or by phone, we collect the details you choose to give us. For tenants this typically means your name, contact details and your requirements; for landlords it means your contact and property details. Where you go on to rent or instruct us, we collect the further information needed to carry out referencing, tenancy agreements and the management of the let, in line with our legal obligations.
Like most websites, this site also collects a limited amount of technical information automatically, such as your browser type and how you move through the pages. This is covered under Cookies below.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to respond to your enquiry, to match tenants with suitable properties, to carry out and manage lettings and property management on behalf of landlords, and to keep in touch with you about that work. We may also use it to meet our own legal, regulatory and accounting obligations, including tenant referencing and right-to-rent checks where these apply. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who we share it with
We only share your information where it is necessary to provide our service — for example with landlords or tenants as part of arranging a let, with referencing providers, contractors and tradespeople instructed for maintenance, and with the service providers and professional advisers who help us run the business. Anyone we share information with is required to keep it secure and to use it only for the purpose we have shared it for. We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you, and we keep tenancy and landlord records for as long as we need them to manage the relationship and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. When we no longer need your information, we delete or securely dispose of it.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. This site uses a small number of them: essential cookies that make the site work and keep it secure. We do not currently use any analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Essential cookies are always active because the site cannot function properly without them.

Your rights
